The last of the cards arrived on Friday February 17th, 2012 signaling that the 2012 Chequamegon 100 is full!
However, the Metric 100 is still open and we are expecting more cards to trickle in. The Metric 100 will be posted with the Chequamegon 100 and we are still adding names to this roster as we receive them.
If the Metric 100 does not fill by March 15th, 2012 we will add more riders to the Chequamegon 100 roster. Riders will be added to the Chequamegon 100 roster until we have reached the 250 rider cap for both races combined.
Over 150 racers are on the roster for the Chequamegon 100. All of the cards that tipped the roster past 150 arrived on the same day. We will keep the Metric 100 at 100 riders as well. With attrition from cancellations we expect to start somewhere in the 200 rider range.
The registration page has been shut down. We will not be accepting any more riders due to the length of the wait list.
If you filled out the online registration form and mailed in your postcard. Your name has been added to the wait list, along with the date your card was received. As riders drop we will contact the next in line for a spot on the roster. No riders will be added to the roster after May 1st, 2012.
In the next few days an e-mail will go out to all riders on the roster to confirm entry and share event details.
Thank you!

ReplyDeleteYes it would good to know if you're on a wate list like an email that would say so, there is another 100 mile race close by the same weekend and some of us need to plan ahead.
ReplyDeleteHow do you get ahold of anyone if you have questions on the race?
ReplyDeleteWhat are we doing laps on a course or is it 50 out and back or is it 100 miles and find a ride back, it would be nice to know becuse some of us are driving to this race alone and where is the best/closest place to camp for the start
