Here we go!
A few questions have come up about the registration process...Here is the deal:
Fill out the form and send in your postcard. Your postcard determines your entry.
The first 150 cards to be received, where the rider has indicated they want to race the 100 will be entered into the 100.
The first 100 cards to be received, where the rider has indicated they want to race the 100 will be entered into the Metric 100 (62)
Based on past entries, everyone who wants to race will get in to their race of choice. Last year we started 121 riders. I expect a slight gain, but nothing astronomical.
If you want to ride a Tandem, register both riders here on the site and send in one postcard for both riders.
Thank you everyone for the questions and interest in racing this year! We are excited to continue on this event!

So, a perspective racer should have mailed a postcard this morning? What was the point of being on a computer at noon sharp today????
ReplyDeleteThey didn't say you had to be at the computer at noon, nor could you have mailed your postcard without an address this morning. Reread the registration process, it says entry is based on the postcard. I have a guess as to why the online portion, but it would only be a guess. They have their reasons.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is the online portion just serves to auto-populate a database for them. Charly, if today didn't matter then why make a big deal out of "noon sharp" on the site? I can't attend anyway but did make sure I was on to register a friend (your buddy Mr. Wilson).
